Introduction to Pranayama for Yoga Teachers-
March 10th, 1:30- 4:30 p.m.
Many yoga teachers are well trained in asana. But often times yoga teachers feel uncomfortable using pranayama techniques in group classes and with individual students. Come learn the basics of how to teach pranayama; the healing functions of each pranayama technique; and the contraindications of the different techniques. When you leave this workshop you will feel more confidence in your ability to use the techniques properly. You will personally benefit as you begin a pranayama practice for yourself, and your students will also benefit as they begin to practice the healing qualities of pranayama.

The Western Science and Eastern Wisdom of Weight Loss
Langham Hotel, Pasadena, CA-
April 29th, 2012
Please call for details- #909-754-4092
Western science and eastern wisdom agree on one thing, how to lose weight and keep it off. While exercise is critical for good health, it is not the primary factor of if you will be lean or overweight. The key to losing weight is eating properly so that your feel nourished, satisfied, clean and energetic.
This workshop will break down the science behind exercising at the proper level and type for weight loss. Then we will continue on to discuss when to eat, how to eat, what to eat and who to eat with for best results. You will figure out your metabolic rate (the rate at which your body burns calories). This will be translated into exactly what you can eat at each meal to nourish yourself and lose weight.
Don’t miss this opportunity to get your body ready for summer! Please bring a calculator, your current height and weight, and an open mind.
